The July speaker was Clive Joyce, editor of the Shuttle/Times and News, who told of the history of Wyre Forest's local newspaper.
An invitation has been received from Lickhill guild for Burlish members to take part in a bazaar in November.
An appeal was made for volunteer drivers for Kemp Hospice, and tickets were sold for a coffee afternoon in August.
Megan Weaver reported on the National Council meeting in Cardiff, when guest speakers included Col John Blashford-Snell, and Hazel Williamson QC.
The next meeting will be on September 12, starting at 7.30pm, when Mrs Sheldon will give a slide show of Wyre Forest.
There will be a book stall.
