BROMSGROVE Rovers boss Steve Daley is backing his in-form side to secure their Dr Martens League Western Division safety with three successive wins.

Rovers begin a run of three home games on the bounce against Blakenall tomorrow (3.00).

With games against Weston and Gresley to come, Daley said: "There are nine points at stake and there is no reason why we can't get all nine, which will put us up in the top half.

"We won 4-0 at Cinderford last week and if it had been eight or nine, they couldn't have complained.

"We have won six out of our last eight games, scored 20-odd goals and conceded only nine and kept five clean sheets, which is phenomenal."

High-riding Blakenall will provide a stiff test of Rovers' improvement, but Daley added: "I am not interested in what they are doing.

"I am more interested with the way we set our stall out, and since Christmas it has been absolutely superb. We have to carry that on now."

Midfielder Kevin Jinks is Rovers' only fitness worry with an ankle problem, but one plus point is that defender Alex Winstone could return after a lengthy injury absence.

Young striker Jamie Turpin, who has been out for over a year after breaking his leg, returned to action as a late substitute at Cinderford and could figure again.
