GARDENS at Hanbury Hall are more stunning then ever, drawing a record 20,000 visitors so far this year.
The Sunken Parterre, based on the original 18th Century gardens designed by George London, is in full bloom, with dianthus, sweet williams and carnations as some of the flowers on show.
On top of its floral displays, the National Trust property, near Droitwich, also produces fruit, vegetables and herbs used in the tea room and at special events.
The next big event is the Classical Strawberries and Cream evening next Wednesday, July 31.
Guests can enjoy a relaxing evening of classical music entertained by a string quartet, while enjoying a bowl of strawberries.
"The gardens are looking absolutely stunning at the moment," said Neil Cook, head gardener.
"Hopefully, many who have enjoyed the gardens so far this year will also come back over the next three months and see how lovely they are in autumn as well."
Hanbury Hall and Gardens is open Sunday to Wednesday until October 30. The gardens, tea room and shop are open from noon until 5.30pm.
The house and exhibition open from 1.30pm to 5pm. For information, times and prices for Classical Strawberries and Cream, call 01985 843601.
