AN exit poll conducted by the Malvern Gazette found overwhelming support for Nic Lloyd's proposals for the future of Malvern Theatres.
Out of a 721 strong audience, 401 signed a petition in favour of the existing management's bid following the Forum meeting.
Just four people indicated support for Ambassadors Theatre Group's proposal on an alternative petition.
Mr Lloyd outlined his proposal at the meeting but ATG declined an invitation to outline its plans.
A brief statement from the company was read out at the start of the meeting.
Members of the public who wish to can add their names to either petition by visiting the Malvern Gazette offices in Broads Bank.
The petitions will be available for signing at reception during office hours.
They will be handed to Malvern Hills District Council prior to it deciding its preferred bid in September.
