THE Police Complaints Authority (PCA) has completed its initial investigation into the death of a 14-year-old Malvern boy.
John Smith, of Clare Road, died when the stolen car he was driving crashed in Evesham on September 1 last year. The car was being followed by police at the time.
A PCA spokesman said: "We've just sent our interim statement to the police force and now it's up to them to arrange, in conjunction with the coroner, the inquest."
He said the contents of the report would not be revealed until the inquest.
A West Mercia spokesman said: "The report has been received and we have responded to it. We now await the inquest, the date of which has to be set."
