DROITWICH golfer John Bickerton moved up the leaderboard with a second round of 69 at the Dutch Open in Hilversum today.
After sharing 12th place yesterday following a three-under-par 67, he recovered from two early dropped shots today and birdied the last two holes to move up to joint 11th place on four under.
Evesham's Jeremy Robinson's hopes were dented by a double bogey seven on the 18th yesterday, which saw him finish on 72, but he picked up a shot today to go one over after seven holes.
Hereford's David Park, perhaps still suffering from the nightmare of taking eight shots to get out of a bunker at the Open at Muirfield, shot a seven-over-par 77 yesterday and was still on that mark after four holes today.
Germany's Tobias Dier, who equalled the lowest ever score on the European Tour with a superb 60 yesterday, followed with a 67 today to go 13 under par, seven shots clear of Padraig Harrington, Gary Evans and Mark Roe.
