MANAGER Steve Daley is threatening to make more changes to shake up Bromsgrove Rovers' season.

Daley blamed "individual mistakes" for their 5-2 FA Trophy defeat against Halesowen last week.

He said: "I felt we were the better side against Halesowen. It was silly individual mistakes that cost us, and if we don't cut them out we are going to struggle.

"If we don't cut them out, I am going to bring in players who won't make those mistakes."

More newcomers are unlikely before tomorrow's Dr Martens League Western Division game at Blakenall (3.00), but Daley added: "Hopefully there might be something after the weekend."

Striker Andy Wright has signed for Stourport Swifts after being released. Richard Ball and Richard Congrave have kept him out, and Daley added: "Once we had got a fully fit squad, it would have been difficult for Andy to break in."

Daley has also had talks with former Rovers striker Brian Gray, who was recently freed by Worcester City, but added: "He wants to try and stay in the Conference or the Premier Division."

Defender Alex Winstone, still out with a cracked bone in his foot, is the only absentee as Rovers bid to continue their improved away form, although it will be a big test for them at seventh-placed Blakenall.

Daley added: "Our away form is quite good so hopefully we can take that a stage further.

"But we know what we are going to get there, which will be a very tough game."
