'PICK up' is the message being drummed home to dog owners in the Spa as Wychavon District Council launches a new initiative.
Canine lovers are being urged to clean up after their dogs in a new scheme where the district council is providing specials bags to make scooping the poop easier.
The authority already provides bins for dog litter throughout the Spa but aims to make it easier for dog owners by providing the new free bags.
Stocks of the bags can be picked up from the town's One Stop Shop, in High Street, Droitwich.
"Residents have strong concerns about dog-fouling. We impose hefty fines on culprits who don't pick-up after their dogs," said Wychavon's dog warden Pip Singleton.
"Hopefully these bags will encourage dog owners to keep the district clean."
The bags are being made available as part of a scheme which, if successful, could be made more permanent.
