RECENTLY, correspondents have referred to that dangerous outside front seat on the local buses.
I once saw a man of 92 catapulted from that seat and on to the floor of the bus. The driver stopped the vehicle and other passengers helped him.
Fortunately, he had not sustained any serious injuries.
If I am occupying that particular seat I hang on very tightly, especially when the vehicle is leaving the station and turning into The Butts.
