YOU have to possess a perverted sense of humour when reading the story "Decision needed to solve bed crisis" (We Say, July 18).
Then we read again (We Say, July 19) that "MPs must stand up and be counted".
UK aid budget to the Third World is soaring to £5bn. We give £3.9m to Swaziland every year. This year, King Mswati promptly used this as downpayment on a £31m private jet.
If cash is indeed so short, why do we waste it on all those countries which, not many years back threw us out?
