PERDISWELL Young People's Club is being extended, but Worcester City Council planners have said there will be no more room for expansion after this.
The club won approval for a two-storey extension from members of the planning committee, who sang its praises.
"I must say that this young persons' leisure club is a fantastic place. I think people who work there are doing a fantastic job and I would definitely support this application," said Councillor Mary Drinkwater.
However, members accepted the advice of the director of development services that if they approved the scheme, the site would have reached its capacity.
A report on the application to the committee stated that any further extensions would exacerbate parking problems and result in the loss of public open space.
