WORCESTERSHIRE people with a head for heights are needed to join a team climbing Ben Nevis to raise funds for a national charity.
The National Kidney Research Fund has organised the event, which will take place on Friday, October 25.
The climbing of Britain's highest mountain will take about five hours, with the descent taking a further three hours.
National events manager Narissa Frost said the challenge would suit all levels of fitness and stamina.
"You don't have to be a fitness freak or a devoted walker," she said. "If you enjoy the outdoors and would like to experience some of the most beautiful scenery in Britain, then this is the challenge for you."
Money raised will go towards helping to fund research that focuses on the prevention, treatment and management of kidney disease.
All walkers are invited to stay in one of Fort William's luxury hotels, and will be invited to a celebratory party afterwards.
