AN EVESHAM company, Karndean International, has been awarded one of the most prestigious prizes in the flooring industry - the Independent Flooring Distributors Association Supplier of the Year (IFDA).
The award follows two other major accolades collected during 2001, the Contract Flooring Association Manufacturer of the Year and the Retail Flooring magazine Final Supplier of the Year.
As an extra bonus, IFDA has allowed Karndean to donate £250 to a charity of its choice, and the cash is going to Noah's Ark, an organisation for bereaved children.
Karnean International, a large brand name flooring manufacturer, is based in Boat Lane, Offenham, where the business started from scratch 10 years ago.
"We are on schedule to move from our current base in Offenham to our new state-of-the-art offices on Vale Park, Evesham, later this year," said Dan Lovell, marketing manager.
