A SICKNESS bug is threatening to disrupt Worcester Rugby Club's preparation for their National One showdown with Rotherham on Saturday.
Craig Chalmers had to stay away from Sixways on Monday because of the bug and Chris Yates went home yesterday feeling ill. Gary Trueman has also gone down with the bug as the injury problems continue for head coach John Brain.
Brain is already without Alis-tair Murdoch (rib), Scott Barrow (foot) and Elton Moncrieff (calf) and there are doubts over a number of key players.
Full back Sateki Tuipulotu is still struggling with a knee problem while winger Winston Stanley is troubled by an ankle knock and Dan Zaltzman is still feeling his neck problem.
Meanwhile, centre Duncan Roke will see a doctor today to get the all clear for the weekend after serving his 21 days out following a concussion injury.
"It really isn't ideal," said Brain. "I won't know until Friday at the earliest about the availability of the players."
