WORCESTER City seem un-likely to have any new faces in their side for Saturday's Dr Martens League Premier Division game at Welling United.

There have been no further developments in their bid for Bedworth United striker Adam Webster, who played a starring role in their 4-0 Dr Martens Cup win over City on Tuesday.

City manager John Barton said: "We have increased our offer and we are awaiting a response, which we have been for quite a while."

Andy Shepherd, brother of City striker Mark, hit a hat-trick as City's reserves beat County Sports 3-0 in a hastily-arranged friendly last night after their scheduled Central Conference clash with Tamworth was postponed.

The younger Shepherd, formerly with Malvern Town, currently plays for Ross Town.

In the West Midlands League Premier Division, Westfields went down 1-0 at Brierley and Hagley Alliance while Bromyard Town lost 2-1 at Lye Town.

Malvern's youth team have arranged a home Midland Floodlit Youth League game with Peg-asus Juniors tonight (7.30).
