WORCESTER City have today made an offer for a striker and a centre-half in a bid to strengthen the squad.
Manager John Barton is also poised to speak to a midfielder tonight.
"We've made a written offer for the two players -- a forward and a defender -- and expect the club in question to discuss it tonight," said club director, Dave Boddy.
"John is also talking to another player this evening."
City's injury-depleted squad returns to action on Saturday with a Dr Martens Premier Division match at Tamworth.
