WORCESTER City fell back to seventh place after the latest round of matches in the Dr Martens League Premier Division last night.

Havant and Waterlooville, who visit St George's Lane on Saturday, moved into top spot after a 2-1 victory at Welling United.

City had temporarily climbed up to third after Monday's 3-2 win over Moor Green, in which Mark Owen scored his second hat-trick of the season.

Manager John Barton is currently trying to bring a defender into the club as he wrestles with City's growing catalogue of injuries.

Suspension will rule Martin Weir out of the Havant clash following his red card at Ilkeston Town two weeks ago.

Meanwhile any supporters interested in helping to organise and prepare the club's centenary celebrations are invited to a meeting at St George's Lane tomorrow (7.30).
