Worcester City coach Mick Tuohy wants his players to improve their home performance and make St George's Lane a fortress starting with tonight's Dr Martens Premier Division clash with rivals Moor Green (7.45).

Tuohy is relishing the visit of Bob Faulkner's side who finished one place below City in the league table last year but admits there is no love lost between the two clubs.

"Moor Green have over achieved in recent years and it is all credit to Bob Faulkner and his supporting staff," said Tuohy.

"There is no love lost between Worcester City and Moor Green and I'm sure you will see a very, very competitive fixture.

"But we are looking forward to it and hopefully we can transform our performances at home and make St George's Lane into a fortress again."

City ran out 1-0 winners in the corresponding fixture last year with a late strike from Mike Wyatt, but go into tonight's match with a clutch of injury worries.

Nathan Jukes (ankle) and Phil Stant (hamstring) both picked up knocks in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Newport, while Ian Reed (ankle) and Allan Davies (knee) are also struggling to be fit.

Jon Holloway has a bruised heel and goalkeeper Danny McDonnell, who has missed the last three matches with a back injury, is also out.

One player back in contention for a place is City stalwart Ian Cottrill who appeared as a second-half substitute on Saturday.

Tuohy welcomed his return to the team. "Originally he wouldn't have been on the bench but Ian Reed failed a late fitness test," said Tuohy. Ian is a valuable addition and he wouldn't have played so many games for Worcester if he hadn't been.

"But we are looking forward to getting all our injured players back.

"I think we have done okay considering the injuries situation and with those people coming back I think, if we can keep picking up points, it can only get better."
