Giant striker Kevin Francis could be set for another trial game with Worcester City.

The 6ft 7in striker played up front for City in last night's goalless friendly with Wolverhampton Wanderers at St George's Lane, and lasted 54 minutes before being substituted for Mark Owen.

Francis is due to hold talks with manager John Barton later today and the former Birmingham City player hopes to feature in Worcester's friendly against Boston United tomorrow night.

"They're a great set of lads with a lot of potential and it was nice of John Barton to give me a run out," said Francis.

"I'm due to talk to John later today but all being well I'll get another run out on Wednesday."

Trialist striker Darren Middleton played the full 90 minutes and had the best chance of the match when clean through in the 59th minute but he shot over the bar.
