JULIE Kirkbride, the town's Tory MP, dropped by to help with the prize-giving at an end of term school bash.
Many of the youngsters at Hanbury Road-based Ottilie Hild, which is the pre-prep for Bromsgrove School, are moving on and the school held a prize-giving and speech day to mark the occasion.
The event was held at Avoncroft Museum's New Guesten Hall and Miss Kirkbride helped by handing out the prizes.
They are awarded to recognise excellence in the fields of sport and education.
"The parents came along and it was a beautiful day with everyone enjoying themselves," said Susan Pickering, the head at Ottilie Hild.
