TWO new buildings at Bromsgrove School were awarded for good design at a presentation last Thursday.
The art, design and technology block and the new sixth form boarding house at the Worcester Road school scooped two of the four awards announced by the Bromsgrove Society.
The announcement was made at the society's annual general meeting held at the Avoncroft Museum of Buildings, earlier this month.
The school was presented with its awards on Thursday by the society's vice-president Des Clarke.
Director of services at the school, John Rogers, said: "Bromsgrove School is proud to receive these awards since it is very conscious of the role it pays in the community."
Other winners were St Andrews Church in Barnt Green and the refurbished offices of Thomas Horton and Sons."
