A MALVERN-based toy library has appealed for donations for a promises auction to raise money for more equipment.
The Borrowers' Toy Library in Barnards Green is planning to hold the event in November following the success of a similar venture last year.
It will use the money raised to buy more toys and play equipment for the children who use its services.
"Last year's event was hugely successful and raised more than £650," said organiser Rachel Tobin.
"We had a lovely collection of promises which included flights in a plane over the Malvern Hills."
The library, which is particularly keen to hear from anyone willing to donate unusual services, offers its resources to families, playgroups, childminders, out-of-school groups and schools.
It also runs a mobile borrowing service. Anyone who can donate services for the auction should contact Rachel Tobin on 01905 423724.
