A 78-YEAR-OLD man died from asbestos poisoning following years of working in the building industry.

Worcestershire coroner Victor Round told a Worcester inquest that John Chuter, of Lickhill Road, Stourport, had been exposed to various types and forms of asbestos throughout his working life.

He died in June from a heart condition caused by asbestos and Mr Round recorded a verdict of death by industrial disease.
