MY friend and I have been amazed at the two letters criticising Bewdley's Jubilee Gardens (John Norwood, July 11 and Cynthia Mackenzie, July 25).
We love Bewdley but, most of all, its peaceful park.
The gardens are a delight, and wonderfully cared for. The grass is mown regularly and there is hardly a weed in sight.
Talking to the gardeners, who were, admittedly, tidying up the pool area, we were told it would cost an excessive amount of money to repair damage caused by floods.
We feed the fish which survive in the pool's "murky" water, and are relieved that their numbers are increasing after being depleted by theft some time ago.
We have nothing but praise, and no complaints.
