I AM fuming at the letter from Mrs S Moule, of Bliss Gate, (Shuttle/Times & News Letters, July 25) about the Kids Klub for children.

I thought the club was there to give children entertainment and stimulation over the long summer holidays.

I did not know it was some sort of childminding service.

All children - whether they have employed or unemployed parents - have the right to these sort of opportunities.

I am a single parent, due to divorce, and am currently training to be a foster carer.

My five-year-old son is too young to play on the streets or walk to the park on his own, and so gets very bored and frustrated.

I thought the Kids Klub would be a wonderful break to socialise with other children safely.

But obviously, according to Mrs Moule, our children should not be allowed that.

I have learnt, through the foster care system, that all children should have the same rights, irrespective of their parents' situation.

Thank-you Wyre Forest for treating all our children fairly.
