RUSH-HOUR commuters were delayed when an articulated lorry became wedged under a railway bridge.
The accident happened at 8am last Thursday morning when the truck, loaded with paper bales, became stuck under the bridge in Hartlebury, at the junction of the A449 and A450.
Traffic on the A450 was diverted between 8am and 9.30am and buses replaced trains as Railtrack engineers checked the bridge for damage.
The lorry's suspension was jacked down to dislodge it.
