MALVERN Rugby Club appointed Vince Hill as captain for next season at their annual general meeting.
Hill has been at the hub of the Malvern pack for several seasons and has indicated that the next campaign is likely to be his swansong.
Director of rugby David Robins said: "Vince is always inspirational and he leads by example, always in the thick of things and rallying his team-mates to the cause.
"A popular figure amongst players and spectators, Vince is looking to lead Malvern to a top half position in Midlands Division One. Andy Longley has done a superb job as captain over the last two years and is delighted to hand over the mantle to Vince Hill."
David Beech was again returned as chairman, whilst Peter Doran is the club's new honorary president. Simon Phillips continues as secretary, John Taverner as treasurer, whilst Mark Wolfe takes over as fixtures secretary and Jim Lomas is the new clubhouse chairman.
Ray Gillard rejoins the committee ranks as sponsorship chairman, whilst Gary Tolley will continue his sterling work in charge of youth development.
