MALVERN Town general manager Richard Anson has slammed a press report in which Bromsgrove Rovers suggested that they were having on-going talks with Town's recently signed strikers Wes Joyce and Dean Roberts.
"If they are, then we know nothing about it," said Anson.
"We will be writing to Bromsgrove informing them that they have no right to talk to any of our players without going through the proper channels."
"We were aware that they spoke to Dean at the same time as he signed for us and Dean did sign a form for them, but as far as Wes is concerned, we have not been made aware of any discussions.
"Certainly, if we establish that any form of illegal approach has been made, we will simply put the matter in the hands of the Worcestershire Football Association."
