A BOARDED-up Worcester pub is for sale, despite having been closed for months.
The previous licensees of The Washington Inn, in the Arboretum, decided they had had enough and left.
But owners Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries, have no intention of de-licensing the Banks's pub and are actively seeking a buyer.
"The last licensees decided to call it a day," said a spokeswoman for the brewery. "It is a free trade property and will be sold as a going concern. We have no intention of de-licensing it."
The pub, on the corner of Washington Street and Barry Street, was boarded up more than three months ago.
It is now being "actively marketed" in the trade Press by the brewery.
