FARMS across Herefordshire and Worcestershire have been taking advantage of the bad weather to build bird boxes.
Workers at Bulmers' farms have been making the boxes when the weather has been too bad to work outdoors.
More than 200 of the boxes have been sited to attract birds that include owls, hawks, blue tits and great tits.
A number of little owls and tawny owls have already set up home in the boxes and bred.
