YOUNGSTERS have been travelling back in time at workshops at a Worcester museum.

Children aged eight to 12 took part in the Roman workshops at the Museum of Local Life, on Friar Street, this week.

They re-enacted the last moments of Queen Boudicca, put on a Romans versus Britons fashion show and tried on Roman armour.

They also dressed as gladiators, experienced Roman everyday life and made a Roman mosaic.

The workshops were for one day only, but Viking and Victorian workshops will be held at the museum later in the year.
