A PERFORMANCE with a space theme will be staged by Upton Youth Band at 3pm on Sunday (August 4), in the old churchyard on High Street.
Corps director Helen Lane said the band raised £1,300 with its 21st anniversary celebrations, on Upton sports field on July 21.
"We would like to thank the members of the water festival committee very much," she said. "They ran the car boot sale on our behalf."
Ms Lane said the money would probably be put towards updating or overhauling the band's xylophones, glockenspiels and marimbas.
