Malvern's mountain biking bronze medallist Liam Killeen returns to Manchester for the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony on Sunday.
Liam, 20, had to jet off to Zurich for a European competition on Wed-nesday, two days after winning bronze watched by a large family contingent.
Proud mum Kay Coombes said: "We had a real family outing. His grandparents were there as well as aunts and cousins.
"The medal ceremony was emotional for everybody - it means a great deal - and the crowd was fantastic."
