RACING comes to Worcester a little earlier tomorrow as Pitchcroft welcomes 'lunchtime' sport.
First race of the day is at 11.30am as the British Horseracing Board continues its country-wide time trials.
It will be the first time Worcester has hosted early racing and it coincides with another 'Family Day' for punters.
Bouncy castles and face painting are on offer for the kids during a seven-race menu between 11.30am and 2.35pm.
Operations manager Katherine Self is curious to how the new time will go down among racegoers.
"It's the first time we have raced at that time," she said. "It has been trialled at Warwick before and Worcester is open to new ideas.
"It will be interesting to see the reaction of the public but we have had 167 entries so it hasn't put the trainers off!
"I think the reaction throughout racing so far has been similar to the one over Sunday racing. However, we are happy to give it a go."
