An award-winning songwriter and guitarist will be playing in Huntingdon Hall, Worcester on Thursday, August 8.
Famous folk rocker Richard Thompson was a member of the legendary Fairport Convention. After leaving the band in 1971, he went on to write and record a series of stunning albums with his then wife Linda including 1982's stark Shoot Out the Lights.
More recently, Richard has made over a dozen albums of his own and written material for others, receiving numerous awards for his song writing and inimitable guitar skills, including the prestigious British Ivor Novello Statue for Outstanding Contemporary Song Collection.
Tickets for the concert, which starts at 8pm, are available on 01905 611427.
