GEORGE Cowley's letter hit the nail on the head.
It is true to say that cannabis can cause intellectual disability and depression to a lot of young people, and so too can the after-effects of alcohol and many prescribed drugs.
It is a sorry sign of the times when people turn to drugs and alcohol in order to live their lives.
