FOR a long time now, I have campaigned for people to use public transport. My clamping fine at Kidderminster Railway Station has given me something to think about.
How about these "interesting figures" on clamping fines in the Worcestershire Area:
1 A clamping Fine of £25 exists at the marvellous Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
2 At the well-run county council Offices, in Worcester, it rises to £50.
3 At the inconsiderate Kidderminster Railway Station, the clamping fine rises to an extortionate £75.
What annoys me most about the authorities at Kidderminster Railway Station, is the confusion over what constitutes "parking" for Severn Valley Railway and Kidderminster station.
