WHAT an enjoyable afternoon was had by one and all who visited the new Quay Street centrepiece last Sunday.
Young children took advantage of the water plumes to cool off, enjoying the variations in height, and others were suitably entertained by their antics and a Jazz Band.
Even the swans seemed to enjoy the atmosphere, though I suspect they only hoped to be fed!
This is a welcome revamp of our riverside area. At last Worcester is making use of our most valuable asset by providing a focal point, which is long overdue. Any other schemes in the pipeline?
