A LORRY overturned after an accident near the Fish and Anchor pub in South Littleton, near Evesham.
The lorry, which was carrying six tonnes of potassium hydroxide, rolled over on to its side at 8.13am this morning. The lorry is believed to have overturned as it was going up The Fish and Anchor hill, half a mile from Offenham. The driver was unhurt.
Two fire engines from Evesham and an incident support unit from Droitwich attended the accident on the Offenham and South Littleton road.
"We were told the chemicals are corrosive but not flammable," said Vicki Davies, a spokeswoman for Worcester police.
