A TEENAGER was jumped by a gang of youths who pounced as he walked past a Kidderminster shop with his brother.

The group of 14 to 16-year-olds, described as ten to 12-strong, had gathered outside the One Stop Shop in Spennells.

As the man walked past some group members punched him to the floor before he scrambled to his feet and ran inside the store.

Staff called an ambulance and the teenager was then taken to Kidderminster Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries.

The first of the three ring-leaders is described as white, about 14 years old, with short black hair, brushed forwards. He was wearing a sleeper earring in his left ear and was bare-chested with black jogging bottoms and black-and-white trainers.

The second was about 16-years-old, about 5ft 8in tall, with a black baseball cap and a long black-sleeve jacket and the third was about 5ft 9in tall wearing a long-sleeve top.

Anyone with information about the attack, on Friday, July 26, at 8.55pm, should contact Kidderminster police on 01562 820888.
