REGARDING your recent report, the first St John's Mediaeval Fayre was originated by the members of the Parish Church in 1953.
It was not until the following year that the traders' association was invited to participate to generate a community atmosphere, and year on year, it was a great success.
This wonderful event can only go forward again if the people of St John's offer their help and work with the church and the traders.
