HOW right Robert Wilkins is (You Say, July 27) regarding the Diglis Docks Development.
We live at The Albion public house, which sits right on the main entrance into the Diglis area. Diglis Road cannot support the daily traffic using it now without any development.
I challenge anyone to stand on the footpath, at the front of our pub, and see how long you can stand there before you have to move to let a lorry turning into Diglis drive over the footpath to get in to the estate.
The idea and development is fine, but until the road infrastructure is vastly improved, a halt on proceedings must be made.
