MY council tax bill is now more than £800 each year.
I've lived in the same house and paid (with increasing reluctance) my bill for more than 30 years.
Recently a wasps' nest appeared near our rear door.
For the first time ever I asked an extra service.
The council pest control said it would cost £27.
Twenty-seven pounds on top of £800 rates. As a pensioner I'm still angry about this. I bought some wasp killer and did the job myself for about £4.
