A MAN fitting the description of the attacker who knocked a mum-to-be unconscious was seen in Evesham town soon after the attack.
Liz Coulson was struck in her West Street home by a man trying to steal her handbag, last week.
The 21-year-old, who is six months pregnant, said the attacker was in his 40s with a Birmingham accent wearing a red Manchester United top.
Police now say a man fitting that description was seen walking in Avon Street, away from West Street, shortly after the incident around 10.20am on Wednesday, July 31.
"I'd ask anyone who knows the identity of this man, or the man himself, to contact me on 01905 723888," said PC Phil Rushen.
