REDDITCH MP Jacqui Smith opened a unique Smallwood development designed to provide support and accommodation for adults with mild mental health problems.
Jubilee House, built on derelict brownfield land, consists of eight self-contained flats and communal facilities.
It is the result of a partnership between Advance Housing and Support Ltd, Redditch Council, The Housing Corporation and community regeneration charity The Green Light Trust.
DIY retailer B&Q has also lent its support as staff from the new warehouse in Smallwood will help landscape a garden for tenants.
The Tunnel Drive store will continue to provide shrubs, plants and tools to help with the work.
