REDDITCH United Women are hoping to reap the benefits after swapping the Abbey Stadium for the Beehive for first team fixtures.
The FA Charter Standard club's first team have moved into the Studley ground and manager Steve Tayler says he is impressed by what he has seen.
The reserves, now known as Redditch Weatherguard will compete in the new Kidderminster League from their Abbey Stadium base.
The town club are hoping to set up a third team and have been given a helping hand by the award of £3,428 from the Awards for All fund.
The money will be used to buy kits, footballing and computer equipment and the club is appealing for new players, aged over 16 to ring Judy Newman on 456213 or e-mail the club at ruwfc@hotmail.com
An under-strength Weatherguard side lost a friendly 9-1 to Cannock side Yates'.
