WYTHALL saw league leaders Arden Forest extend their lead in Division Four West of the Warwickshire League by a meagre two points with only one match avoiding the rain.

The table toppers reached 150-3 before their match against Nether Whitacre was abandoned and took seven league points as a result.

Wythall were unable to start against Knowle Village so both teams were awarded five points.

Forest sit 13 points clear in what is shaping up to be a two horse race.

The Silver Street side try their luck at Nether Whitacre on Saturday (1.30pm start).

FIVE Ways Old Edwardians saw their lead at the top of Division Four West overhauled by rivals Bridge Trust after their match against Four Oaks fell victim to the weather.

Chris Jones' side took just eight points from an abandonment after being stopped at 63-2 while Bridge Trust humiliated Prince of Wales to bag 24 points and go ten points clear as the new leaders.

Old Eds visit second from bottom Prince of Wales on Saturday (1.30pm start) while Bridge Trust take on a Weoley Hill side within four points of Five Ways.
