CRICKET across Bromsgrove and Droitwich Spa took a battering from the elements last weekend as local sides had to abandon their matches.
Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa and Cutnall Green were all forced to call it a day because of heavy rain.
The Boars endured two weather delays while Droitwich Spa didn't even get a chance to bat.
And Cutnall Green's Neil Fletcher hit 60 not out before the rains came.
Avoncroft were the lucky team as they skittled out Old Halesonians before batting to a quickfire eight-wicket victory.
Barnt Green also managed to reach a revised target of 105 from 26 overs for a winning draw at Himley.
