THE sun shone and hundreds of people turned up as a taste of the Caribbean was brought to Redditch United football ground.
The Descendants of Windrush held a Caribbean Family Funday with numerous activities to suit all tastes and ages.
The event featured gospel singers, dancers, poetry, steelbands, reggae music, and a number of stalls.
There were also bouncy castles, face painting, a raffle and tombola, party games and a great deal more.
For those who worked up an appetite with all the activity taking place, there was also an array of exotic food to sample and buy.
