A HUNT End man knew he had reached the pinnacle of his musical career when asked to perform for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
Dudley Fowkes, of the Littlewoods area, played at Leicester's National Space Centre as part of a Jubilee visit on Thursday.
The musician said he was thrilled to be given the opportunity and believed it was a great success.
This is not the first time Mr Fowkes has kept the royals entertained as he has also played for Princess Diana and Princess Margaret.
